Let my daughter, her boyfriend and 2 of his friends drive the Jeep and they returned claiming death wobble. Daughter is small Boyfriend = 420 lbs His friend = 320 lbs 2nd friend = 282 lbs.....yes I asked. I have relatively new 1 ton steering and never the slightest wobble , everything tight, TJ...

Will I be disappointed with Currie Antirock for on-road driving?

I actually believe I'd have to cut adjustment rod to even experience it. If I remember correctly, threaded all the way, both ends

Will I be disappointed with Currie Antirock for on-road driving?

The OP asked " will I be disappointed with AR for on-road driving " And I responded.......having no issues with AR on softest setting. I installed new shocks and coils and simply don't experience roll to the degree of being dissatisfied.

Will I be disappointed with Currie Antirock for on-road driving?

I decided on the softest before I installed from my experience from running back and forth to trails with swaybar disconnected......I liked the way it felt. Why does the AR have several different settings if nothing physically happens ? Are you say the stiffest setting feels exactly like the...

Impressive in a pose but overall travel will be greater rolling down the trail in the softest setting.

Will I be disappointed with Currie Antirock for on-road driving?

It is indeed the optimal setting for me.....more articulation equates to offroad performance. Not sure why anyone would replace factory sway bar and disconnects with the AR then treat the AR like factory sway bar and disconnects. Lol

Will I be disappointed with Currie Antirock for on-road driving?

I guess we all have various expectations. My first thought was actually a better ride with Antirock on softest setting......leaving it there.

    Well, ya'll got me today

Yep makes sense but no play existed and they were somewhat seized from not being removed for a long time. You saying it's a good idea to throw a couple lugs on ?

    Well, ya'll got me today

Ya'll got me for a couple of hours. Because of my utmost respect for the members of this forum and the advice given......I spent my afternoon realigning the front end of Jeep. I read on this site to do it once per year......well, accurate measurements showed it never moved from 1 year ago. I...

Anyone here have a GM with the 8-speed auto? Any GM techs around?

Oh, also replaced a shift sensor on passenger side of transmission.

I had a 545RFE "Dodge Ram " transmission that did this very thing. Dropped the pan, replaced filters, added fluid and bought a tuner that enabled user to adjust line pressure in transmission......haven't had a harsh shift in 2 years.

Oh, so I'll never actually say of my TJ: Done

My wheel'n friend is the most fanatical Jeep owner I know.....think he said he's got over 13K in his Jeep. Just last month he did Atlas TC and trusses. Currie Antirock was last thing I did well over a year ago.

    Only worm heat

Worms should be fine as they don't really require much heat.....just picking. Make sure your thermostat is working properly, temp gauge should read close to *210. Once you determine the thermostat is working properly, you can do a heater core flush. Several methods used for this. I've used...

Looks great. Remember to keep it that way with various methods learned on this site......fluidFilm, boiled linseed oil to mention a few.
