Awesome car, I’ve never been in anything like it, I bet it's a blast. I'm a little confused though, you say it a legit '66 Ford GT40, but show a car with modern stuff and a build tag saying Superformance, LLC, who builds replicas. I assume it's a replica car built similar to the original. What...

Here's a different local truck turned into a sign. The mast behind it is attached to the frame and used to hang a sign for a diesel repair business, but that truck disappeared over the last few years.

There is a quarry around here that has a very similar looking truck sitting out front as a sign. I'm trying to remember which one it is so I can get a pic. Maybe if the 'ol thinker will work...

Yea, the 20' "Pro Sport" model is just what I've been looking for, but for $17,000 + tax and fees  , I think I could just bag a regular flat deck and be happy. https://www.futuratrailers.com/product/pro-sport-lowering-trailer/?variant=43995837595801

It definitely has an effect on electronics, especially batteries, I just don't know how usage plays in.

Here's a local old garage in a rural area. These two have been sitting around for as long as I can remember. There's what looks like a '73 Chrysler around back with about 1/2 a dozen old Ford trucks, but it's a busy intersection so it's hard to grab pics.

Do you, or anybody else, know if time or usage degrades these EVs more? I know batteries and electronics have an expiration date used or not, but does more use speed it up or slow things down?

How so? I'm detached from EV maintenance, so other than the general stuff like battery lifespan, I really don't bother keeping up with the EV stuff.

Yep, I'm all too familiar with those struggles. That's something that I've found is hard for people to believe, that an extra low mileage vehicle could need more work than one with average-to-high mileage. Sitting around and/or short trips really takes a toll on a machine, and it's usually...

Fixer Upper for 14 Year Old Boy

We do use salt in NC, but not enough to matter. I'd guess that Jeep has spent time in our coastal areas, which definitely has enough salt to do damage. From the pictures, the frame looks fine, with some areas and bushings that need to be addressed soon. This is an area of concern. Any...

Especially non Chevrolet. I've said it before, I remember when I was a kid if a good 4-door needed tires or ran out of gas at the wrong time, the parts vultures would start circling. I've been one of those vultures. Years ago, except for my Chrysler which I grew up with, I wouldn't have anything...

Yep, I know 3 stations within a 5 mile radius of me with 89 or 93 non-ethanol at the pump. It's usually about .50 more than the same octane with 10% E. It only hurts when I fill up my truck with a 35 gallon tank. :sneaky:

While it may help pass it through, I think of those products as more of a bandaid. The best way to deal with it is either burn the fuel out in a timely manner, or use ethanol free fuel. I run ethanol free in everything I have that doesn't see daily use, or won't burn a tank out completely within...

You're welcome. Old ethanol is something I don't want to deal with ever again.
