Yes….pcn It came out pretty well. I put the TJ on its side and learned a lot about painting in the repair process. I ended up doing grille, hood, cowl and w/s frame. Body work is easy, but painting is chemistry.

I understand that. To do half doors wouldn’t be bad , but it’s not economical to rattle can a panel or armor. Not very much material in a can.

A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

I bought some of their paint sometime back. It matched well and is fine for a small area. On a larger surface it’s hard to get a consistent finish without getting “stripes” in the appearance. I found that an inexpensive Harbor Freight hvlp spray gun and a pint/quart of paint produced a much...

Definitely a good day wheeling and everyone did great. Other than a couple tire issues everyone finished unscathed. The best part was the guy at the entrance to Anaconda saying "You cant do that trail in a TJ on 35's" !

    Most used / favorite tool?

I bought a Sherwrap that has a fold over 1" edge. It works ok for a frame but not for something like an axle tube. It has a few draw backs but it was like $20.
