As sweet as that is, I would have liked it even more if it had a chrome grill, and maybe some sort of front bumper. But at least a chrome grille, for sure. Just a tad too much blue up front.
I would have settled on a bumper. Maybe a contrasting color for the grille? But yes still a nice F1.

Not a fan of that blue or chrome, for the most part, but if it was broken up with even a Ford blue colored grill and some accents elsewhere I think it'd look better.

Anybody here used to read Street Rodder? When I was a teen I had subs to Street Rodder, Rod & Custom, and Supper Street mags. I used a little too much class time "reading", which was really just daydreaming.
I threw away stacks of mags when I moved out. I kinda wish I still had some of those.'37 for sale on Hagerty Marketplace just waiting on some retired guy to buy it. 5 hours to go, and it's only at $14,800 right now. If only I knew some retired guy who's interested in old Fords....

Is/was this Van yours back in the day? A buddy of mine had a Dodge Tradesman that was converted /painted into a similar condition without the chop. It was a dealer option, I think. I had a 72 Chevyv an that I built bed and paneled the walls. I put mag wheels on and pinstripped it with tape, put a good stereo in it and drove it for 6 months and traded it on the 74 CJ-5......
That sent me down a rabbit hole.... I now have another "project" in mind.

I had 'em all, 'cept "Supper Street". Was that a Martha Stewart rag?
And like you, I decided one day that I needed the space more than the magazines, and I donated a little over 1,200 car magazines to a local thrift store. Definitely regret that decision, now.
