What did you do to your TJ today?

Went camping in the Cooper's Creek area. Explored a lot of forest service roads and found some very cool campsites. Found a very steep climb at the end of one of the trails. I was the only two door so I was the only one to climb it. It was a walk in the park for the TJ. Turning around at the top was a little dicey, but I was imagining throttling through at the first hint of a tip over. Fortunately did not have to test that theory out.

Walking down the Appalachian Trail to the "swinging bridge".

Testing out each other's queasy threshold.

Kayakers exiting the river to check the rapids under the bridge. They do this trip every year. We hung around to watch them. It was fun cheering them on and they made it successfully and cheering them on for entertaining us if they rolled over. It was a win-win for us.

Got rid of this squeaky garbage for some of these pricey sealed ends from RockJock. Hopefully they're good.

Warn finally makes a decent cover (supposedly) for the m8000... need to get a new line from BMB WRG now

Took it for a drive and did some data logging... seeing a solid 30-40°f cooler iat out of boost and 20ish cooler at the end of a long pull. Not a scientific test by any means, but it's cooler, so the intake was worth it.

Got the light bolts wired for the license plate and vinyl wrapped the white outline because it just looks better.

Thinking about painting the center stack bezel tan to match the doors... opposite of how the factory tan interior Jeeps were but I think it'd work with my doors and seats and I wouldn't be painting an original bezel since this is a 3rd party double din bezel. Still thinking about it... Console needs to come off to wire up the heated seats still anyway

And finally got around to applying my Savvy decal

Hit a couple spots on the frame with some rustoleum I missed last year. Oil is draining to tackle the RMS again tomorrow, for the third time.

I need to get those ends for my anti rock, I was not aware they are available.

Today I drove my Jeep without a wheel falling off. I like the small victories. Andy

Drove mine to/from work today and had this feeling coming home, too. Had a sudden 'is every bolt tight' thought cross my mind as its one of the few times I've driven him since major upgrades.

Hope you didn't have a real world wheel fall-off moment I'm not tracking here on the forum...

If not, time behind the wheel is always a victory and bless. ;)

I have this thought too, one of the reasons I use the bright bolt marking stuff. A quick look underneath and I can see all is well.

Unfortunately my only day off is Monday, so I gotta make the best of it . Been meaning to get to a HV4W meeting but by the time I get out of work I wouldn’t make it in time.

Although, if you plan to attend a meeting let me know and I will definitely come to meet and introduce you to the group.

We are getting some rare near perfect weather in Alabama- low humidity.

I’ve got a number of cool projects going on and should have some good pictures soon-

I took the rack off the white Rubicon for now- I’ve got a cool light bar that’s going to have at least six LED lights over the windshield to make use of the existing a pillar stanchions.

Starting a Clayton 4 inch lift on a 2004 for a bud.

Finally dug out the original soft top for the 04 - got it on.

...pretty tempted to drive the thing into work for the rest of the day since I’m going by my place to look check a job.

I’ll try to get some really good pictures as things move ahead.

The weather in southern Indiana is great today as well. I had the sides/back out of the Trektop and the doors off yesterday. Since CMM shipped the wrong handle (to attach to the TJ roll bar instead of the RH4x4 Sport Cage), I had to put the doors back on this morning to drive to a job site 2 hours away, just for the mirrors.
