3 of the 5 tires came back from balancing with 1 ounce or less of weights. Another came back with a couple ounces, and the 5th came back with 9 ounces I haven’t mounted them on the Jeep yet to test the balance.
The one may need spun on the wheel.
Curious to see what you think about this combo, been looking at this exact setup.
So far Im really liking how raceline uses replaceable threaded inserts as opposed to most brands threading the aluminum. Super easy to pop out and press in. I’m pretty bad about dragging wheels on rocks so I have a feeling this will come in handy. I’ll report back on how the tires feel on a familiar trail on Sunday.
... and the 5th came back with 9 ounces
Mine balanced last month at 1.25, 5, 6, and 9. Then I had the guy come back three weeks later and move a few weights around. Pretty good.

My only other impressions so far are that these wheels and tires look damn good and holy fuck they are heavy compared to what I’m used to.
I also underestimated the amount of work to mount beadlocks. Torquing bolts didn’t sound that hard at first but after 5 wheels you are pretty much over turning a wrench for while. There’s just no comfortable way to do it since you are bending over a giant tire. What I found was that on the first tire I was too conservative with the impact but as I went I got quicker each wheel figuring out just how long I need to impact for. On the Racelines, some of the inserts aren’t fully seated so you’ll feel a lot of them need to be pulled up a little. I used my 3/8 stubby fuel impact and I turned the power down to level 2 and I used my wimpy 2ah battery. That seemed like the perfect amount of power for this job. I think when I got dialed in I was going about 4 rounds around with the torque wrench after the impact. I stayed fairly organized and would use the wheel design to help me stay in neat patterns around the wheel. I worked in groups of 8 and would hit all the I’s first then the Ds, then the bolts to the left of the Ds then the right of the Ds. Took me right about 45 min per tire on the last few.
I’ve found it’s comfortable sitting on the couch with the wheel up on a bucket so it’ll easily spin while I watch TV.
I used a bucket as well. Maybe I need a taller bucket because it still just wasn’t comfortable on my little stool
How was the initial balance on the road
Which tires?
