Where do I tap into the parking brake circuit on a 2000?

I tapped into mine at the parking brake handle, under the console. It was easy to remove.

    Bolt Specs

I removed the side bolts for aftermarket side view mirror brackets. I beleive the 5/16 x 18 is correct. I took one down to Ace to find a matching bolt. One of my stripped, had to drill it out and extract it. I used stainless steel when I replaced them. Ended up replacing all of them as...

2" BDS springs giving 3" of lift? Or...

I got the 3” of lift when I installed the 3” lift. I measured at the coils. I have an LJ but it still worked. I know some say they get less on a LJ but from what i understand the LJ is only 200LBS more and seems odd it would have that much effect. I way more than 200lbs. But maybe the...

What did you do to your TJ today?

I have the 1/2” drive but the end does not stay in place, so seldom uses it. My son even complained about the other day. I said “yes I know I use the 20 year old Proto in the tool chest”.

Saw this for sale today. Not too far from me if anyone wants me to go take a look at it. Price seems high, but does seem to have some nice options...

    Car cover (sun protection)

I got this for my LJ. So far it seems to work well. It’s a little tight since it’s not for the LJ but it works.

    LJ Hardtop

Fortunately in Sacramento it doesn’t get too cold. But that is one thing I don’t like about the soft top. That rear window can be a pain sometimes. But I’ve had the softop on now for about year and enjoy it. It’s more of “what if I change my mind?” And then it’s gone.

    LJ Hardtop

It is khaki. There is a local guy interested in from our jeep club trying to decided if I really want to let it go and fair price for it. $1800-2000 seems like a lot for 18 year old top. But seems about the going price depending on shape.

    Problems with Axle centering

Same as above, use a ratchet strap. I found once it was really tight I was able to push the axle a little. Then I would ratchet it a little more and so on. It ended up working. Maybe if I had a ratchet strap that was a little bigger I wouldn’t have had to do that.

    LJ Hardtop

Thank you for the info. The few I’ve seen appear to be around that price. I am thinking mine is in decent shape. The front has some chips in the paint, the rest is just dirt.

    LJ Hardtop

I have 06 LJ hardtop and thinking about selling it. Trying to locate pricing information, is there a way to narrow down the search on “parts for sale” forum? In general not finding a lot of information on pricing.

Need your help: Is it foolish to install a $700 Sony CarPlay unit in a TJ without a hardtop?

It’s up to you. It crossed my mind too when I upgraded. Decided on a Boss radio that does what I wanted. Sure at times when I use onX i wish the display was better quality, but hey it works and does what I need it to do.

I believe the stock springs are, front 12” and rear 8” tall. Measure the coils and the difference will be the amount of lift you have. And welcome to the forum!
