Here's a different take on a switch pod for the TJ's.
It looks like the wiring and switches would definitely interfere with aftermarket speakers (coaxial) and may with the stock ones.
But, just an idea to throw out there.

I feel like they would easily get knocked off. but if they wouldn't, I definitely think its a cool concept.

I would worry about hitting that stuff, but as long as you tie it into your ignition, it shouldn't matter too much.

I went with the SP-9100 for everything but maybe my planned lockers and air compressor (still haven't decided).

I have yet to hit that speaker with any part of my body.
Roll bar? With my head, a lot.

I tend to drive with my knees very close to the dash. However I think it probably is gonna be clear there, because in my truck I've got a brake controller and I only barely touch it on rare occasions.
