Good morning!

My name is Marcin, I'm writing to you from Poland.

I'm in the process of rebuilding the entire car. Unfortunately, one of the bearings was damaged when dismantling the steering column.
Could you please help me identify the steering column bearing?
Car details: Jeep Wrangler TJ 2005, 2.4l engine.

Unfortunately, this bearing could not be found in the official spare parts catalog. There are no markings on the bearing.

Bearing dimensions:
-outer diameter external OD - 36.7 mm
-inner diameter ID - 26.5 mm
- width: 7mm

Please let me know if you know where I could find one. Catalog number, trade symbol?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Greetings from Poland!

Dzien dobry! Is that bearing the one that lives in the engine bay or is it somewhere higher up like right behind the steering wheel?

Ohhh....You might need to get a whole steering column. With no markings the only way I know of to get the bearing would be to pour over catalogs and search for the right dimensions.

If you have a bearing supply company nearby, you might be able to take it in and match one up.

I used to be able to get various bearings from a starter and alternator shop that had a good supply on hand.

Does Poland have any camels?

Takin’ a survey.
