"Big Nude Boat" offers a trip to "bare-adise" on a naked cruise from Florida

Like to travel light? One cruise ship soon to set sail from Florida is making sure all you need is the bare necessities – no shoes, no clothes but plenty of service.

The Big Nude Boat" will take travelers from Miami to the Caribbean on "an 11-day adventure back to Bare-adise," the website says. Setting sail from Feb. 3 through Valentine's Day 2025, the trip offers a "stress-free, clothes-free experience" during which up to 2,300 passengers can roam the ship in the nude while out at sea.

"It's our pleasure to provide you with the luxury of deciding what NOT to wear," Bare Necessities Tour and Travel says.

Passengers won't be allowed to be naked when the ship is docked, but can ditch their usual attire once they are anchored or out on the water. And when clothing is optional, standard nudist etiquette must be abided by, the website says. When sitting, nude passengers must either wear a thong or sit on a towel or some kind of fabric. And while the self-serve buffet on the pool deck is a clothes-free area, passengers must be dressed for all dining room meals – and no, bathrobes don't count.

Photos and videos will also not be permitted unless all individuals being documented give consent.

"The Big Nude Boat" is just one of the cruises offered by Bare Necessities, which says on its website that the company has been "working to break down the barriers against social nudity and make clothing-optional vacationing a viable and acceptable option for all."

"Social nudity is not a sexual activity, and we strive to dispel the misconception that it is anything but natural and beautiful," the company says. "We have made strides in the acceptance of nude vacationing and our wide range of cruise charters are a testament to our success."

Great. A skyclad cruise. Some things just need to stay hidden...

3 bodies in Mexican well identified as Australian and American surfers killed for truck's tires

"Thieves apparently killed the three, who were on a surfing trip to Mexico’s Baja peninsula, to steal their truck because they wanted the tires. They then allegedly got rid of the bodies by dumping them in a well near the coast."

"The well was located some 4 miles (6 kilometers) from where the foreigners were killed, and also contained a fourth cadaver that had been there much longer."

"The thieves then allegedly went to what she called “a site that is extremely hard to get to” and allegedly dumped the bodies into a well they apparently were familiar with. "

The new Swiss Army Knife will be missing a key feature

CNN —
The maker of the Swiss Army Knife is working on a new version of the classic multi-tool, which won’t have a blade.

“We are in the early stages of developing pocket tools without blades,” a spokesperson for Swiss firm Victorinox told CNN in a statement Tuesday, adding that they will compliment the existing range of multi-tools rather than replacing them.

“With innovation at the core of our brand, we are constantly listening to our consumers and their needs; and acknowledge that there is an appetite for the functionality, versatility, and craftsmanship the Swiss Army Knife is known for in more specialized fields and situations,” said the spokesperson.

CNN contacted Victorinox after company CEO Carl Elsener Jr. told Swiss media outlet Blick that he is concerned about increasingly stringent regulations on knives in many markets.

For example, increasing concern over the prevalence of knife crime means that the British government is considering new legislation on bladed articles, and Elsener himself referenced the country’s rules.

“In England or certain Asian countries, you are sometimes only allowed to carry a knife if you need to have it to do your job or operate outdoors,” said Elsener. “In the city, however, when you go to school, to the cinema, or to go shopping, carrying pocketknives is severely restricted.”

Elsener cited the fact that knives are seen as weapons rather than tools in some countries, and revealed that the company is working on new tools for specific sports or outdoor activities, such as cycling.

“I have a cool tool for cyclists in mind. We already have a tool specifically for golfers in our range,” he said. “Cyclists probably need special tools, but not necessarily a blade.”

The Victorinox dynasty was founded in 1884 by Karl Elsener and the company – famed for its cross in a shield emblem – has been handed down through generations.

In recent years, the company has released new product lines such as socks, time pieces and fragrances as it attempts to counteract the pressures of Switzerland’s strong currency, the franc.

In 2012, Elsener Jr. told CNN’s Richard Quest that a strong franc had eaten into margins, forcing the company to be “more innovative than our competitors in the rest of the world.”

No specific timeline has been announced for its latest product.

The driver of a suspected stolen Lamborghini Huracan died after crashing the luxury vehicle while attempting to evade police in the Reseda area early Monday.

Around 5:10 a.m., police officers approached the gray 2019 Lamborghini Huracan after noticing the driver fell asleep behind the wheel near the intersection of Sherman Way and Reseda Boulevard.

Officers conducted a vehicle query and learned that the Lamborghini was reported stolen. The driver, 51-year-old Elliot Dugan, had multiple felony warrants, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Dugan was instructed to get out of the car and refused. After a few questions from officers, Dugan took off and sped west on Sherman Way.

The driver was going over 100 mph when he lost control and crashed into the center median on Vanalden Street.

Police searched for Dugan in the wreckage and his body was located several hundred feet away on a nearby sidewalk. He was ejected from the car on impact and died.

Multiple vehicles parked along Sherman Way were also damaged from the wreckage.

Not sure where this story came from but some comments were posted.

Elliott "Lambo Gambo" Dugan has powerslid off this mortal realm at 51. This apex auditor treated yellow lines like Mello Yello drinks. In lieu of flowers, mourners are asked to roll through every stop sign in a 20-mile radius, just how he'd have wanted.

Elliott, a man with a charismatic personality, shared his love for the nightlife and networking with everyone. He had a passion for the finer things in life, living a rockstar life. This memorial site is dedicated to his memory. Please share your rockstar experiences with him, and let him live on in your memory

When contractors were working on the Family Fare grocery store in Midland, they unexpectedly found a woman, 34, living inside the rooftop sign.

“I’ve never seen anything like this before in my career,” said Midland Police Department Public Relations Officer Brennon Warren of the April 23 finding at 2026 N. Saginaw Road.

The woman, who police nicknamed the "Rooftop Ninja," lived inside the store sign for about a year, Warren said. Inside her dwelling, she had a mini desk, flooring, a pantry of food and even a houseplant.

“She made it home,” Warren said.

Contractors discovered an extension cord on the roof and traced it to the dwelling inside the Family Fare sign.

“They were like ‘OMG, someone is living in that sign,’” Warren said.

When police became aware of the situation, officers told her she needed to find somewhere else to live. She was trespassed from the business. No criminal charges were filed against her. Officers offered the woman housing assistance and other resources. She declined their help. Police also believe she had a vehicle at her disposal.

The woman has a job, though she is not a Family Fare employee, Warren said. In addition, police said the store agreed to work with the woman to get her furniture down and back to her.

Damn, she lived rent/mortgage and utility bill free for a year. I think she might be smarter than I am. 🤔

4 X class solar flares have erupted from the sun in the last 24 hours. Their coronal mass ejections will strike earth this weekend. With 4 of them hitting us at the same time there is a chance that it takes out chunks of the power grid like a EMP does. Keep your eye on the news even they should be reporting on this soon. Here is a video with a better explanation.

You mean the hysterical over-hyped "news" outlets? I'll ignore them like I always do. Too bad it isn't an ELE, or at least a smartphone fryer!

I should note I didn't write that, I grabbed it from elsewhere. I'll put it in quotes.

Here’s what I don’t understand … how would we know about the solar flares without the radiation / EMP already being here? Doesn’t the radiation / EMP travel at the speed of light? The same light that we see and say “hey look, solar flares!”

Both eruptions occur when the motion of the sun’s interior contorts its own magnetic fields. Like the sudden release of a twisted rubber band, the magnetic fields explosively realign, driving vast amounts of energy into space. This phenomenon can create a sudden flash of light, a solar flare. Flares can last minutes to hours and they contain tremendous amounts of energy. Traveling at the speed of light, it takes eight minutes for the light from a solar flare to reach Earth. Some of the energy released in the flare also accelerates very high energy particles that can reach Earth in tens of minutes.

The magnetic contortions can also create a different kind of explosion that hurls solar matter into space. These are the coronal mass ejections, also known as CMEs. One can think of the explosions using the physics of a cannon. The flare is like the muzzle flash, which can be seen anywhere in the vicinity.

The CME is like the cannonball, propelled forward in a single, preferential direction, this mass ejected from the barrel only affecting a targeted area. This is the CME, an immense cloud of magnetized particles hurled into space. Traveling over a million miles (1,609,344 km) per hour, the hot material called plasma takes up to three days to reach Earth. The differences between the two types of explosions are visible through solar telescopes, with flares appearing as a bright light and CMEs appearing as enormous fans of gas swelling into space.

The driver who has been attacked for taking off after 'cruelly' abandoning a helpless German Shepherd puppy on the street in a now-viral video has broken her silence to tell her side of the story.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Jubree Johnson, 22, admitted to driving away after leaving the three-month-old pup at a mobile home park in Fresno, California – but claimed it was after the dog had already been ditched by its owner.

She denied any wrongdoing and explained that she and a friend had spotted the puppy – now renamed Phoenix – wandering the streets and decided to take it in on a whim, only for them to have second thoughts and dump it on the street.

Speaking publicly for the first time she said: 'The dog was already abandoned. It wasn't mine nor my partner's. We were in the area when we saw the dog. We took it to the nearest shelter, but they couldn't take her because they were closed the weekend.'
